Peter M. Tosh, (born Winston Hubert McIntosh; 19 October 1944 - 11 September 1987) was a Jamaican reggae musician. Along with Bob Marley and Bunny Wailer, he was one of the core members of the band the Wailers (1963-1976), after which he established himself as a successful solo artist and a promoter of Rastafari. He was murdered in 1987 during a home invasion.

Madness are an English ska band from Camden Town, North London, who formed in 1976. One of the most prominent bands of the late 1970s and early 1980s two-tone ska revival, they continue to perform with six of the seven members of their original line-up. Madness's most successful period was from 1980 to 1986, when the band's songs spent a total of 214 weeks on the UK Singles Chart. (UB40 shared the same number of weeks, the largest for any British group in the decade, but over a longer period.)

David Lubega (born 13 April 1975), better known by his stage name Lou Bega, is a German recording artist. His 1999 song "Mambo No. 5", a remake of Pérez Prado's 1949 instrumental piece, reached Number 1 in many European countries and was nominated for a Grammy Award. Bega added his own words to the song and sampled the original version extensively. Bega's musical signature consists of combining musical elements of the 1940s and 1950s with modern beats and grooves.

Jeff Rosenstock (born September 7, 1982) is an American musician, multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter from Long Island, United States. He was the lead singer of the ska punk band The Arrogant Sons of Bitches, the punk musical collective Bomb the Music Industry! and the indie rock/noise pop band Kudrow. After the breakup of Bomb the Music Industry!, he began a solo career.

Razika was a Norwegian alternative indie pop band from Møhlenpris, Bergen with various indie rock, punk, ska and reggae influences. While their early work featured some tracks in English, they primarily composed songs in their native Norwegian. In 2010, they were signed to the Smalltown Supersound label and have released four albums: Program 91 (in 2011), På vei hjem (in 2013), Ut til de andre (in 2015) and Sånn Kjennes Verden Ut (in 2018). Exhibiting more of a synth pop style, their fourth studio represented a stylistic departure from their previous work. Razika split up in 2019 after the summer festival season.
