It's been 15 years since Long Beach Dub Allstars disbanded, but in 2016 the group continued their path of musical evolution and the legacy they started with Sublime. Now, after this lengthy hiatus, the Long Beach Dub Allstars have returned with a back to basics approach to their first new music in nearly two decades. The new album is 10 tracks deep and harnesses the feel-good vibrations and the SoCal musical roots of the band's past, as the band puts everything into one musical melting pot of Reggae, Ska, Dub, Hip Hop, and Punk.

Fortunate Youth is an American reggae rock sextet from Hermosa Beach, California. Its current lineup consists of Dan Kelly (vocals), Travis "Travi Bongo" Walpole (percussion), Jered Draskovich (keys/bass), Greg Gelb (bass, guitar), Corey Draskovich (bass, guitar, keys), and Revelation (drums). The band has incorporated a wide variety of influences, including blues, ska, rock and punk into their sound, and cite acts such as Bob Marley, Katchafire, Van Morrison and The Grateful Dead as various influences. The lineup has no set designated musician, and all members rotate positions within the band during live performances.

Jeff Rosenstock (born September 7, 1982) is an American musician and songwriter from Long Island, United States. He was the lead singer of the ska punk band The Arrogant Sons of Bitches, the musical collective Bomb the Music Industry! and the indie rock band Kudrow. After the breakup of Bomb the Music Industry!, he began a solo career.

Bob Marley and the Wailers were a Jamaican reggae band led by Bob Marley. It developed from the earlier ska vocal group, the Wailers, created by Marley with Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer in 1963. By late 1963 singers Junior Braithwaite, Beverley Kelso, and Cherry Smith had joined on. By the early 1970s, Marley and Bunny Wailer had learned to play some instruments and brothers Aston "Family Man" Barrett (bass) and Carlton Barrett (drums), had joined the band. After Bunny Wailer and Peter Tosh left the band in 1974, Marley began touring with new band members. His new backing band included the Barrett brothers, Junior Marvin and Al Anderson on lead guitar, Tyrone Downie and Earl "Wya" Lindo on keyboards, and Alvin "Seeco" Patterson on percussion. The "I Threes", consisting of Judy Mowatt, Marcia Griffiths, and Marley's wife, Rita, provided backing vocals.

He has already gained extensive experience on stage and in the studio, as lead singer of the French reggae group "The Banyans". The Aquabats are an American rock band formed in Huntington Beach, California in 1994. Throughout many fluctuations in the group's line-up, singer The MC Bat Commander and bassist Crash McLarson have remained the band's two constant fixtures.
