Info
In the '80s, she was the bee's knees, a teenager with loads of talent and hit records to boot. She wrote her own songs, was extremely photogenic and her only real rival was the meagerly talented Tiffany. Debbie eventually won the Pop duel of the '80s and released memorable hit records. When she outgrew her teen audience (and they outgrew her), she became Deborah Gibson and pursued a successful career on Broadway with the occasional foray into the studio. Features 12 tracks including remixes of 'Only In My Dreams', 'Shake Your Love' and 'Losin' Myself'.

The Studio Album Collection 1987-1993 collects Debbie Gibson's first four studio albums: Out of the Blue, Electric Youth, Anything Is Possible, and Body Mind Soul. Of the four LPs, the triple-platinum-selling Out of the Blue and the double-platinum selling Electric Youth offer up the most radio hits ("Foolish Beat," "Shake Your Love," "Lost in Your Eyes," etc.), while the latter two, although still moderately successful, saw Gibson moving out of teen pop and into a more adult contemporary direction.
