BEE GEES 1971 AUSTRALIAN BROADCAST RECORDING By early 1970, The Bee Gees appeared to be just about finished. Robin Gibb was pursuing his solo-career but Barry, Maurice and Colin Petersen continued on as the Bee Gees recording their next album, Cucumber Castle. The band made their debut performance without Robin at Talk of the Town and had recruited their sister, Lesley, into the group at this time. To accompany the album, they also filmed a TV special which aired on the BBC in 1971.
