In the 1990s, the trained construction mechanic Martin Hein decided to become a pop singer. For five years he performed alone under the name Martin Marcell and worked as a waiter. Then around 1993 he met Fredi Malinowski, alias Freddy März, who worked with the same management and the same producers on his solo project.
