Roderick Giles is a native Washingtonian. He attended Eastern High School and was a tenor soloist in the world renowned Eastern High School Choir. He studied under and credits his musical expertise to the highly esteemed, Dr. Joyce Garrett, his mentor. He is an accomplished and sought-after singer, composer, vocal clinician, and director, and has performed with countless gospel greats including Karen Clark Sheard, Dorinda Clark Cole, Twinkie Clark (The Clark Sisters - his favorites), Dottie Peoples, Yolanda Adams, Kirk Franklin, Shirley Caesar, Dorothy Norwood, BeBe Winans, Beverly Crawford, Mary Mary, Kim Burrell, Sheri Jones Moffett, Stephen Hurd, Y'Anna Crawley, Le'Andria Johnson and so many others.
