La Yeni has lived in many countries, and has been influenced by all types of music. She was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and grew up in the U.K., Canada, The U.S. and Spain. Some of her influences were Sting, Loreena McKennitt, Enya, Altan, Led Zeppelin, Tori Amos, Peter Gabriel, and many others.
