Gary Lineker introduces highlights from the day’s five matches in the Premier League, including Fulham’s trip to Liverpool and an all-Midlands clash between Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa. The Cottagers’ trip to Anfield last season produced a seven-goal thriller, with Marco Silva’s side holding a 3-2 lead until the closing stages, when goals from Wataru Endo and Trent Alexander-Arnold rescued all three points for Jurgen Klopp’s charges. Forest have surprised many with their good form so far this season. Today, they host Unai Emery’s Aston Villa, who finished fourth in the Premier League in 2023-24 to qualify for the Champions League for the first time in their history. Elsewhere, Everton travel to the capital to take on Arsenal, Newcastle are at home against Leicester City and newly promoted Ipswich Town head to Wolves

All eyes are on the capital in this week’s edition of the Premier League highlights programme, which features two London derbies, including enigmatic Tottenham’s clash with an improving Chelsea. Tottenham often dazzles with the daring style of manager Ange Postecoglou, although they have already slipped up at home this season, including a shock 2-1 defeat to newly promoted Ipswich Town in November. Chelsea are establishing their own brand of football under head coach Enzo Maresca, and he will be looking to add to their success in both league meetings last season. In today’s other derby, Arsenal were aiming to continue their title challenge at Fulham and gain revenge for a 2-1 defeat at Craven Cottage in last year's campaign. You can also see what happened when Leicester City hosted Brighton and Bournemouth travelled to Ipswich Town. Mark Chapman presents.

All the best action, reaction and analysis as Arsenal host old foes Manchester United in one of eight midweek Premier League fixtures. Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal scored twice in stoppage time to secure a dramatic home victory in last season’s corresponding fixture and went on to complete a league double over United for the first time since 2006/07. After facing Ipswich and Everton in his first two games in charge, this fixture represents the toughest test of head coach Ruben Amorim’s fledgling tenure at the helm of the Red Devils. Other notable games include Newcastle versus Liverpool, Everton against fellow strugglers Wolves and reigning champions Manchester City at home to Nottingham Forest.

The Premier League puts on its Sunday best, with Liverpool v Manchester City headlining four standout fixtures. Ruben Amorim takes charge of his first Manchester United home game. Liverpool are the only side to stop Manchester City winning the Premier League title over the past seven seasons and have made the best start to a top-flight campaign in the club’s history under new head coach Arne Slot. They also boast a phenomenal record in this fixture at Anfield, losing just one of the past 21 league meetings. Amorim’s Manchester United welcome Everton to Old Trafford, while in London, Chelsea host Aston Villa, and there’s a derby between Tottenham and Fulham.

Gary Lineker introduces the goals, drama and best reaction from the weekend’s Premier League fixtures, including the London derby between West Ham United and Arsenal. The Gunners secured their biggest Premier League away win in February with a ruthless 6-0 dismantling of West Ham, who suffered their heaviest home defeat in the division. The Hammers made a slow start to the current campaign under new head coach Julen Lopetegui, but Arsenal also have some catching up to do in the title race after a run of poor results. Other games include many of the sides near the bottom of the table, including Wolves, Southampton and Ipswich Town.

Jason Mohammad introduces highlights of the day’s two Premier League matches, with Southampton hosting Liverpool and Ipswich facing Manchester United. Tractor Boys boss Kieran McKenna, who moved to Suffolk after a spell as part of United’s coaching team, will hope to oversee the club’s first league win against the Red Devils for 30 years. The last top-flight match between the sides was in May 2002, when Ruud van Nistelrooy won and scored a controversial penalty at Portman Road to give the visitors victory. Like Ipswich, Southampton won promotion last season but have struggled on their return to the top division. Russell Martin’s men face an uphill task against a Liverpool side unbeaten in six league and cup games against Saints. Jason and guests will also look back at the goals and talking points from Saturday’s seven matches.

Gary Lineker introduces highlights of the day’s seven Premier League games, including the fixture between Manchester City and Tottenham. Matches between these sides are usually exciting encounters, and last year’s at the Etihad Stadium certainly lived up to the hype as Dejan Kulusevski’s late goal earned Spurs a 3-3 draw in a see-saw encounter. When they met last month in the EFL Cup, Ange Postecoglou’s side beat City 2-1 to advance to the quarter-finals. Elsewhere, Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca returns to Leicester, the club he left in the summer, while Fulham players Raúl Jiménez and Adama Traoré also face their former team as they take on Wolves at Craven Cottage.
