Pierre Perret, born July 9, 1934 in Castelsarrasin (Tarn-et-Garonne), is a French singer-songwriter. Author playing on the words and musicality of the French language, Pierre Perret does not disdain slang, which he intentionally uses in many texts (he rewrote the fables of La Fontaine). The interpreter, in an apparently naive, even childish style, with candor and humanism, asks a number of relevant questions which he declaims with a malicious smile.
