Dallas based Plunk Murray is five friends that love music and are bound together by it and by the belief that Celtic music is not limited by any specific region, but it's in the hearts of those who love it. Plunk Murray brings an exciting mix of traditional and modern, Celtic tunes, along with a number of not-so-Celtic tunes. Their high-energy shows have made them a favorite at festivals, concerts, private parties, and pubs across Texas and Oklahoma. They've been affectionately described as a drinking club with a Celtic music problem.

While primarily a Celtic band, playing everything from traditional Irish tunes from The Dubliners and The Irish Rovers to more modern Irish songs by The Pogues and Flogging Molly, you're also likely to hear a wide range of "not-so" Irish songs as well. On any given night you may here songs by Merle Haggard, The Cure, Men at Work or the Beatles.
