This is the deluxe edition of Taylor Swiftâs eighth studio album, folklore, which was released on July 24, 2020. On July 23, 2020, one day before the standard edition of the album was released, Taylor tweeted that there would be eight physical deluxe editions with eight album covers since folklore is her eighth studio album, and they will include a bonus track titled the lakes. She wrote: folklore will have 16 songs on the standard edition, but the physical deluxe editions will include a bonus track the lakes.
