Wolfgang "Wolle" Petry (born Franz Hubert Wolfgang Remling in Cologne-Raderthal on September 22, 1951) is a German pop singer and songwriter. His best-known titles include songs like Der Himmelbrennt (1982), Wahnsinn (1983), Falling In Love, Lost, Forgotten, Forgive (1992), Bronze, Silver and Gold (1996), Augen zu und durch (1997) and White the vulture (1998). According to its own information from November 2018, Petry has sold around 18 million records. Since 2017 he has also been active with his band project Pete Wolf Band.
