White Noise formed in 2019 near Portland, OR, between lead vocalist Coleman Weimer and producer Luc DeLorenzo. While working as studio techs in their college film program, they released the White Noise EP. The duo then produced, recorded, and mixed their debut LP, Contrapposto, from their college studio and bedrooms amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. They collaborated with friends Jacks Whitehurst (electric guitar) and Caleb Weaver (bass guitar).
