Plot
Noah, a workaholic, has plans for a weeklong vacation at a remote lodge leading up to his sister Justine's wedding. Noah and his sister have grown apart over the years, and Justine is hoping to reconnect with her brother over the week. Lily dreams of being a successful hotel event coordinator and is thrilled when she's given the chance to do so by helping Noah, a hotel guest, finish planning his sister Justine's wedding at the remote picturesque lodge. As she gets to know Noah, Lily realizes he is a workaholic and wants nothing more than to be at his office. Determined to make Justine's wedding a success, Lily spends more time with Noah and encourages him to live in the moment and be more supportive of his sister's big day. As the wedding day approaches, Lily and Noah learn to appreciate each other and what really matters in life and ultimately fall in love.

Maggie (Nikki DeLoach), a successful entrepreneur, returns home for a will reading and discovers she's inherited half of her aunt's famed maple candy business. What she doesn't understand is why Aunt Dee's maple supplier, Dex (Andrew Walker), inherited the other half. Her return also coincides with the town's Sweet Autumn Fest, and through a series of letters Aunt Dee left, Maggie and Dex search for the reason behind her aunt's final wishes. As she and Dex grow closer, Maggie must decide if the life she built is the one she wants.

Barbara finds her last hope to be a grandmother when her son, Ethan, falls for Kendall, a divorcee with children. At first kept at arm's length, Barbara quickly infiltrates the family by using devious tactics to win over Kendall's kids. Unannounced visits escalate to murder as Barbara will do anything to protect her relationship with her grandchildren. Most of the obstacles come from the director of the film who serves as both narrator and mentor throughout the story. Ultimately, Moondance is both a traditional Hollywood musical love story and a guerrilla documentary about a rogue filmmaker.
